[THE MUSIC]
Cluj-Napoca
is a city that rocks and BITTER MOON is a prime example of the
spirit of the local underground scene which has developed here after the
so-called 1989 Revolution.
This Romanian outfit has enough original self-penned songs for two full-length
albums. Also, several Nirvana hits are included in club gig playlists
- and that's not all: BITTER MOON can also perform unplugged!
They have several standout tracks with diverse influences. This
is a Romanian Rock band with an original sound developed under the influence
of the early '90's Seattle Sound. Grunge is however just one of many of
their moods.
MIHNEA has a Punk trumpet attitude; PETER's blood pulsates
on Heavy Metal guitar riffs; NICK is the Alternative Britrock vocalist;
SORIN adds serious pinches of Funky bass guitar infusions and RAZVAN
adds to the band's sound with mature Darkwave drum beats.
Their dirty, scruffy and outrageous songs achieve public acceptance, however,
the Rock compositions of the band prevent it from obtaining radio airplay
on major commercial Romanian radio stations. >>>

MOON's pure strength. NICK is the genius behind the band's softer,
more harmonious compositions.

National Rock Festival.
